Comments to the Department of Treasury on Financial Inclusion
The Greenlining Institute submitted comments to the Department of Treasury Request for Information on Financial Inclusion. Our comments focused on lifting up the financial inclusion needs of low-income communities and communities of color, particularly in the face of climate change. This includes considering how financial institutions may alter their lending practices as part of
managing their own climate-related financial risk and ensuring that these communities have safe and fair access to credit and capital being made available now for our collective transition to a green economy.
