Land Acknowledgement

Consistent with The Greenlining Institute’s vision for a just future, we acknowledge that Greenlining’s main building in Oakland, CA is situated on the unceded traditional homelands of the people of The Muwekma Ohlone Tribe.

With genuine respect and support, Greenlining recognizes that indigenous peoples are the original stewards of this land and valued members of our community.

We are thankful for the opportunity to honor them and are eternally grateful to their ancestors and descendants’ commitment to protecting this land.
