COVID-19 Precautions

In order to ensure the health and safety of our attendees, event staff, and the staff of the spaces in which we meet, we ask that everyone do their part to keep us all safe.

Recent Exposure or Symptoms

Please do not travel or attend the event if you are not feeling well or if you may have been recently exposed to the COVID-19 virus. If you are unable to attend the event due to illness, we will provide a full refund. We respectfully ask attendees to prioritize the collective health and wellbeing of all participants when making decisions to attend the Just Future Summit.

Starting September 25, every U.S. household can get free COVID-19 rapid tests delivered directly to your home by ordering from this link. We strongly encourage attendees to self-administer a rapid test if you are displaying symptoms or have been recently exposed to the COVID-19 virus.

Vaccination

Attendees must be up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters as defined by the CDC.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now recommends everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness this fall and winter. Vaccine manufacturers have begun distributing vaccine supply nationwide.

Masks

Masks are encouraged for those who prefer to remain masked, but not required for the event. Read below for more details.

For those who wish to remain masked for the entirety of conference indoor components, please note that our scheduled Lunch Break on October 19 will be held entirely outdoors for a food truck style street set up directly adjacent to the Oakland Marriott. And our scheduled Lunch Break on October 20 will be served with to-go style boxed lunch.

For the October 20 Boxed Lunch, all are welcome to enjoy their meals in the following outdoor spaces, if they prefer:
