New Publication: Escaping the Old Boy Network – The Banking Industry and Supplier Diversity
This month, we launched our latest report, “Escaping the Old Boy Network: The Banking Industry and Supplier Diversity,” at a special event on February 24th, where we brought together banks and diverse businesses to dialogue about supplier diversity.
In this first-ever report of its kind, we found that California’s largest banks buy few goods and services from minority-owned businesses. In a state where people of color make up 60 percent of the population, banks obtained less than eight percent of the goods and services they procured in 2012 from businesses owned by African Americans, Latinos, Asians or Native Americans.
Download the report to learn more about how banks can improve their procurement with diverse businesses.
