Empowering The Next generation of racial equity leaders
We confront the economic redlining of leadership development by empowering emerging leaders to reach their full potential.
About the Leadership Academy
The Greenlining Leadership Academy trains and empowers the next generation of multi-ethnic leaders to create positive social change. We offer three transformative programs designed for young leaders seeking to reach their full potential. Graduates of the Leadership Academy join a global network of visionary leaders who work across racial and ethnic lines to address America’s most pressing problems with solutions rooted in equity and justice.
Fellowships are year-long programs for young leaders who are seeking hands-on policy advocacy experience, leadership training, and transformative professional growth. We seek individuals who are committed to equity and justice for communities of color.
Summer Associate Program
The Summer Associate program is an intensive 10-week training program for young leaders who want to gain real-world policy experience and to invest in their professional growth. Through leadership development and experiential learning, we seek to instill participants with the skills, confidence, and social networks to become effective advocates.
Casa Joaquin Residency
Founded at UC Berkeley in 1970 by Chicano/Latino students, Casa is a multi-ethnic residential leadership program that fosters academic success and a cross-racial living and learning experience for participating students.
Over 1,000 Leaders Strong
