Toward Fair Cures Conference
In 2004, the state of California passed the Cell Research and Cures Act, directing $3 billion of state monies into stem cell research. With such an investment into healthcare and employment opportunities, the underserved and minority communities of California must ensure that their stem cell program serves the state's diverse population.
The Toward Fair Cures Conference was established to unite leaders from minority communities, academia, and the sciences to discuss the importance of ethinc diversity at all levels of stem cell research in California.
