Bay Area Coalition to Increase Diversity in the Health Workforce
The Bay Area Coalition to Increase Diversity in theHealth Workforce combines a common interest amongst advocates and is a coalition of groups working to increase health workforce diversity.
What unites these advocates? In California, an alarming shortage of diversity in the health professions exists. Given the growth of California's minority populations and their corresponding need for culturally and linguistically appropriate health care, this shortage signals a serious threat to the health of communities of color.
Having our Say
Having Our Say is a statewide coalition working to ensure that communities of color have a voice in the health care reform debate and that the solutions provide equal access to coverage and services to all Californians.
It's our Healthcare
It’s OUR Healthcare! is a coalition of consumer advocates, seniors, health advocates, communities of faith, and labor united to ensure that the people of California’s voice is heard in the debate over healthcare reform.
Health Access
Health Access California is a statewide 501(c)(4) non-profit organization founded in 1987 and dedicated to achieving quality, affordable health care for all Californians.
For more than fifteen years, Health Access has played a significant role in leading the movement for health care reform in California. Health Access has promoted universal health care proposals and advocated for specific incremental reforms that promise to provide immediate health care services to California's most vulnerable populations.
Health Access is truly unique among organizations that advocate for health care reform in its ability to work at both the grassroots and senior policy levels to advocate for substantive reforms. Health Access works with a broad coalition of more than 200 member organizations representing communities of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, children, seniors, people of faith, labor, and working families.

The coalition has launched an OURx Bill of Rights which details the principles of the coalition.
