We invite applications from all interested students. Entering first year students and transfer students are especially encouraged to apply. We mail applications throughout the year and make every effort to accommodate qualified students.

Students are encouraged to apply by May 7th. Admission is on a first come, first served basis for qualified applicants.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Please review carefully and complete every question and both essays. Print or type and sign and date your application. The admissions committee will not review incomplete applications. Make a photocopy of your completed application for your files. Your application is confidential. The information requested is to enable us to evaluate your needs and make roommate assignments. In addition to submitting a complete application, we request the following materials:
1. Essay
2. Photograph
3. One letter of recommendation (Can be copy of letter used for school admission)
4. Copy of a financial aid offer letter (if available)
5. Proof of enrollment at UC Berkeley or other nearby college.
Once a complete application is received, we will contact you within a month. If you are admitted, you and your parents will have ten days to accept our offer of admission by submitting a signed and notarized financial contract and terms and conditions agreement along with a $500.00 deposit to reserve you a room at Casa.
The casa staff will be in contact with you before your arrival to answer questions and assist with any necessary preparations for a successful academic year.
