The Summer Associates Program : Overview |
![]() |
The Academy Associates program is an intensive 10-week training program for young leaders that have completed, at minimum, their undergraduate degrees by the start of the program. Associates manage research and advocacy projects with the direction of a Greenlining staff member or program team. Their findings and projects are presented in both a written and oral report at a symposium hosted by the Greenlining Institute at the end of the program. |
In addition, every Friday summer associates will be given the task of examining a critical problem facing California's undeserved communities. On these issue days associates will be scheduled to meet with some of the state's top leaders and stakeholders who are trying to address the problem. |
