Title Economic Equity Manager, Equitable Banking
Job Summary

The Banking Manager for the Economic Equity team will lead our work to keep financial institutions accountable to serving and reinvesting in communities of color in California. The Manager will be responsible for conducting research on how the financial sector is currently serving people of color, and advocating for meaningful changes in banking and regulatory practices, and in policy at the local, state, and federal levels.

Title Equitable Economic Development Fellow, City of Oakland
Job Summary

In collaboration with the City of Oakland Economic & Workforce Development Department and the Surdna Foundation, The Greenlining Institute is recruiting for an Equitable Economic Development Fellow to work inside the City of Oakland on policy implementation aimed at wealth gains for households of color. This is a two-year position based at Oakland City Hall with the possibility of further extension based on performance and funding considerations. The Fellow will meet regularly with The Greenlining Institute to support their work.

We offer part-time paid internships to college and graduate students. Interns typically work between 10-20 hours per week on research-related projects. Undergraduates with work-study are encouraged to apply during the spring and fall semesters.
